My next stop in Guizhou was a little town called Zhaoxing. The highway to get there was nothing short of terrible, but they are remedying the situation and building a massive new road. The townspeople specialise in making the indigo-dyed fabric I've mentioned before. The first photo shows a typical village scene with drying dyed fabric all around. This town was no different from others where I'd taken photos of kids - these guys put on a bit of a show for me. Then demanded money. This is the new generation of Chinese!
