April 23, 2010 - Langde Shang, Guizhou

This Miao village was on the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay route in 2008, but it's basically deserted now.  A very cute collection of traditional wooden houses and stone courtyards perched on a steep slope.

    Do you think this place was done up like this for the tourists, or is it authentice? Very interesting, anyway!
