Well I guess this makes it official. I have left the US for an "extended period". Sold my car 2 weeks ago for $2500, packed all my stuff up (150lbs total checked in luggage), had a nice dinner with the roommates and Ryan and Jen on Friday night then a little going away gathering at the Waterfront in Venice on Sat and said most of my goodbyes. Ryan took me to the airport Sunday night, Jan 3 (of course we hit traffic on the 405 at 9pm - I will not miss that) and now I'm writing this from my parent's house in Auckland. Let the adventure begin!
PS Jen, I need to send you pics of Jazz - she is so much bigger now and she has this crazy way that she plays with a ball all by herself, you have to see a pic.
